I purchased this Integra w/ 160k miles. I took the valve cover off and
looked at the belt since I have no way of knowing when it was replaced last (purchased from a dealer). Belt looked good. Not shiny and no cracks anywhere. Is there really a way to tell when it needs replacing or should I maybe just go ahead and replace to be on the safe side. I have never had a car w/ a timing belt that needed replacing so don't know what one that needs replacing looks like. -- Tony My Boats and Cars http://t.thomas.home.mchsi.com |

Have the water pump replaced at the same time. >I have never had a car w/ a timing belt that needed replacing so don't know >what one that needs replacing looks like. Just like a brand-new one. |
