How would I reset this light? I'm pretty good about keeping up the
maintenance on my cars, so I'm thinking about just removing the bulb. But
before I do, does anyone know if anything happens if this light is not reset
after a certain period of time?

Turn the engine on, reach under the steering and to the right of
steering column. You will feel a square button behind the panel. Push
this button and hold it until the light goes out.

AFAIK, that light will simply stay on if you do not reset it and annoy
you

It's just a convenience reminder that works off milage.
It doesn't relate to any particular maintenance requirement.

If you have as hard time finding the square button then I recommend getting
on your back and looking under that panel. It should be obvious then. I
had to do this the first time I had to reset that button.
