Default Integra Radiator Coolant

Is there a special coolant I should use in a radiator flush job for an
Acura Integra 1997, Special Ed.?

Of course the dealer said to use the one from them, I'm wondering if the
Canadian Tire, aluminum motor coolant is good enough.

TIA, Ben

I have a 95 teg and I just did my coolant in my car. I purchased the
coolant from the dealer because I got some oil filters and some
transmition fluid as well. I have a friend overthere that gives it to
me at cost which is about the same as store prices.

Ordinarily, I wouldnt worry whether its dealer fluid or not. The only
benefit in using it is its all ready diluted.

I was wondering the same thing recently. When I asked the dealer about it,
he said that there used to be only a minor difference in the their coolant.
But they have recently switch manufacturers and it's essentially the same as
most other aftermarket coolants. As for power steering fluid and manual
transaxle lubricant, that's another story. I personally use the Prestone
that is supposedly compatible with every color coolant.
