just bought a 97 1.6 EL
Great car so far, EVEN THOUGH it was in some sort of collision on the front
ride side. I couldn't tell, it didn't show up on www.carfax.com and there was the lightest smattering of dirt on the car when i went and looked and i just couldn't see it at all. they did a great job hiding it. but there's no leaking, and everything seems fine EXCEPT my transmission doesn't really disengage below 60KMs. Every car i've owned has been a standard, so maybe this is what automatics do?? not sure, but it feels weird. anyone know a great mechanic in the toronto area?
