A few months ago I had my clutch disk, pressure plate and throw-out bearing
replaced. My problem is that my clutch has no play at all anymore. To get it into gear I have to keep a lot of resistence on it and let it up very slowly while applying gas, otherwise, it is going to pop the clutch and drop the gearbox. I am trying to figure out where the clutch job went wrong. I took it to another mechanic for an opinion, and he agreed with me that the clutch was screwed up, but he did not exactly know why. So I am wondering, can an adjustment be made to my cable to make it more driveable? Or is there an adjustment somewhere else that can be done? The car is drivable but it's a pain in the ass to drive and I'd like to get it fixed. TIA |

If your car has a hydraulic clutch, it could be a bad master/slave cylinder
