If you live in a urban area with EPA rules in effect; "winter" gas starts
into the pipelines Sept 15 and winds up in your gas station's tank a couple or three weeks later. It has a higher vapor pressure than summer gas. It really makes a difference to my cl-s. That coupled with cooler air is even better. Then it is a manual tranny and the car develop its HP at high rpm. Maybe it's more noticiable with auto tranny and motor revving at lower RPM. -john |
