Default RSX-S wheel offset

I measured the offset of my RSX-S wheels and it looked like about 42mm. Tire
rack wants to provide me with 2002 Accord LX 16" X 6.5" wheels with an
offset of 55mm. They claim that is the offset specification of the RSX-S
alloys.

Is that right? I want to use the Accord wheels or other with Dunlop M3 snows
this winter. I don't need radical steering alterations!

Thanks,

Dave M.
