I own a Acura Certified 2000 TL, and have always noticed
that there is a momentary delay when I place the car into drive (D5). Maybe this is normal, but I've never experienced this what any other car that I've either owned , or driven. Does anyone have the same, or similar experience with their Acura? Thank you. Mike. |

If it gets too pronounced, I believe that is one of the symptoms of impending transmission failure. If it has any other drivability issues or weird shifting behavior, have an Acura dealer look at it for a possible transmission replacement (the transmission warranty on this car has been extended to 100,000 miles). |
