Default Blue Tooth

I have a '04 TL which has given me my first experience with HFL..Blue
Tooth. The problem is that it works most of the time but not all of the
time. Example: Command "Call wife at work". Response: "Would you like to
dial 808". Usually, as second try gets the proper response. I find this
seeming lack of proper voice command recognition usually occurs early in
the link. It usually gets better after a few calls are made.
Occasionally, it may take 3 or 4 tries to get the correct phone book
number recognition.

I am using the Sony/Erickson 610.

Is this just the nature of Bluetooth, or, should I ask the dealer to
replace the voice recognition chip?

RJ

Default Re: Blue Tooth

try to re-record that item, use a name only (like "mary", or "marywork",
etc). it works better when you say "call mary" or "call marywork" as opposed
to a sentence. i also found that you need to speak clearly with little pause
between words.

maybe one day the smarts will be there so it can learn your speaking
patterns (words per minute, pitch, etc) as opposed to just voice
recognition.
