Hi guys/gals, I just bought a new RSX (base) and want to do some
upgrades. I've added a nice pioneer sound system, now for some horsepower. I would like to put a super/turbo charger on it, but can't find any for the base model (only type s). Can someone explain the difference between the two cars that would allow a supercharger on the type s but not the base? And are there good mods that I can do other than a super/turbo that would get me up close to 200 hp? What about electric superchargers? Are they worth the money? thanks a bunch, Will |

there's a new supercharger coming out for the base 5 speed and cybernation
already makes a pretty sweet turbo kit if u have the money for it. With a base there's no real way you're going to hit 200hp with n/a, turbo is the only way to go. What are the differences between the RSX and -S models? (not just HP rating, the details) What's the HP ratings for each model? -- Jim Yanik jyanik-at-kua.net |

Type S: 6 speed, larger front brake rotors, type s floor mats, slightly
thicker front stabilizer bar, paint matched side skirts, chrome exhaust tip, titanium shift knob, perforated leather trim, 6 cd changer with bass module in spare tire, higher compression ratio, higher redline, higher rpm needed for max torque -- Rob "Jim Yanik" <jyanik@abuse.gov> wrote in message news:Xns9535DBD1AE591jyanikkuanet@204.117.192.21.. . > "Jordan MacInnis" <macinnis@kingston.net> wrote in > news:10gj7iurrs8ge3a@corp.supernews.com: > > > there's a new supercharger coming out for the base 5 speed and > > cybernation already makes a pretty sweet turbo kit if u have the money > > for it. > > > > With a base there's no real way you're going to hit 200hp with n/a, > > turbo is the only way to go. > > What are the differences between the RSX and -S models? > (not just HP rating, the details) > > What's the HP ratings for each model? > -- > Jim Yanik > jyanik-at-kua.net |
