OK, so I bought a TSX and love it.. but didn't opt for the navi system.. Now
of course I regret it... any idea's of prices and even the possibilty of
adding this navi system to my non-navi system?

it was only 2000 more.. but I couldn't see doing it.. now the regrets..
thanks!

buy a portable nav system, you can then take it without the tsx.

Voice directions in your choice of several languages with remote control &
touch screen controls. Also comes with detachable sand bag base, very
secure, and 2.1 GB harddrive which has all of US and major southern Canadian
cities.

Yes, it sure does. I have been using a SP2610 (identical to SP2620
except for smaller CF card which is not preloaded with maps. I simply
added 1G card and preloaded with map that covers most of US) for 8
months and just came back from a 4000 mile road trip. I did not take any
paper maps with me on this trip and with SP2610 I never needed one. In
most cases it computed good routes and guided me very well. It not only
told me about upcoming turns well in advance, but also cautioned me
about exit only lanes on interstate by asking me to stay left or right.
The few routes it calculated that were not so good still got me to where
I wanted to go to. There are too many navigation features to mention.
You can find a review at
<http://gpsinformation.net/sp26xx/sp2610rev.html>. Garmin has been quite
responsive on any questions and issues. I like SP2610 enough
that I may not even consider a built-in nav system on my next car.
