OK - wife and I are ready to purchase a new TL. What is the most popular
color - seems like white is hard to find here in sc penna. Any wiggle room in the price - the TL is so popular, seems like the dealer is doing us a favor to just quote the sticker price. TIA |

If there is only one dealer where you live, you have few options on price,
pay what they ask or buy another car. You also asked " what is the most popular color ? " It never ceases to amaze me how someone can have the money for an expensive car and be unable to make simple, personal decisions for themselves. Do you want to buy the most popular color, or NOT BUY the most popular color ? Why don't you look on the dealer lot,. or ask him, or is that too difficult for you too ? My goodness ! Supply and demand will make the difference. When I bought mine I serached
area dealers on line ( many have inventory online ) and found one close enough to be practical who listed 89 TL's in inventory. They were willing to deal on IN STOCK TL's except for NAV. Only had 2 nav system cars, full sticker. That was 3 months ago and I see now that my dealer has 11 nav's so that may be factor now in my area, becoming more available. Kinda surprised me, I don't think black is the most popular color for any cars here in Los Angeles, except maybe S-class Mercedes. Saw a dark red TL the other day, that really caught my eye! White is generally a top color for any car. J. |

Around Chicago, Silver is a pretty hot color, especially for the Navigation
version. Price is close to sticker, but there should be some wiggle room w/ the dealer, especially on any options. I bought a white with navi for 34695 in the SF bay
area. I could get without navi for 31600, but finally decided to go with navi. I did not order the car. I called around and found Stevens Creek Acura had white with parchment. Went there and bought it. ram "noone" <noone@comcast.net> wrote in message news:SKOdnXfUMtbfyU_dRVn-uA@comcast.com... > OK - wife and I are ready to purchase a new TL. Yeah silver seems to be popular for just about any luxury or near luxury
make in Chicago. Black is right up there too. You go to a BMW dealer and you could swear they only make BMWs in two colors ![]() "kbstreet" <kbstreet@comcast.net> wrote in message news:Kd-dndRumoANwk7dRVn-sw@comcast.com... > Around Chicago, Silver is a pretty hot color, especially for the Navigation > version. I had no trouble finding one and paid $33,616 including nav system, about $1,500 off retail. -- Larry J. - Remove spamtrap in ALLCAPS to e-mail "Lord, are we worthy of the task that lies before us, or are we just jerking off..?" |
