Having read many horror stories about the Turanza EL42s, I noticed that the Acura website specifies that a $200 option is "P235/45R17 93W High Performance Bridgestone Potenza." I haven't read any comments about these. Does anyone have any experience with them on a 2004 TL? If so, do you know which ones they actually are? TireRack shows RE05A, S-03 Pole Position, RE030, RE750, RE020, G009, and RE950 models! Jack |

However, the Acura website says the A-Spec tires are 235/40VR18 95W Yokohamas. I was just curious if people are having the same problems with the Potenzas as with the Turanzas. I buy a set of winter tires on steel rims from Tire Rack for the snow season anyway. While they are generally an improvement over the stock OEM R92, I cannot get them balanced properly. Two different shops say they are balanced and this is the nature of the tire -- an intermittant vibration in my seat between 70 - 82. I go to Michelin next and soon. |

Yeah but the tires don't need insurance or gas like a cheap SUV does...
