i did not drive TSX, sat in one before test driving the TL. TL was much more
roomy and felt better to me. i'm not sure how they compare spec wise, but i bought a TL. Drove 2 back to back. No comparison. TL was much
more powerful and fun to drive. TSX reminded me of a Civic. I like smaller cars (have had Preludes and now Integra GSR), but the TSX just didn't cut it. Drove them back to back too and agree - the TSX seemed underpowered after
driving the TL. THe TL is much better. "Jamie Turner" <jturner4@mts.net> wrote in message news:CtLwc.19970$gf1.47727@news1.mts.net... > Other than the performance and other specs, and the price differential, has > anybody driven the TSX and TL back to back? How do they compare? > > |

The TL is by far much better for a number of reasons. For the money, I
would buy an Accord EX-V6 w/ Navigation before I would buy the TSX. Has similar equipment but the Accord has the 240 HP V-6. I went from an Accord V-6 to the TL and do not regret it at all. I do not mind 1 1/2 to 2 hour drives each way to my new job now!!! I live in Chicago. It is a fact of life. It isn't every day, so it isn't
to bad. "Carl S. I drove the stick shift versions of both and chose TSX. Although the TL had
a lot more power, I experienced a lot of torque steer. A car like TL with 270 hp needs to be either RWD or AWD. The TSX feels more managable, averages 28 MPG (70% freeway) and fast enough for me. Also, I have had better service and treatment with my Hondas than any Acura I have owned. So, for my money the Accord wins hands down. |

I own a '04 TL. I have driven the TSX as a Service loaner car. The TSX is
nice but the TL is a much more refined car. There is no comparison in performance between the TL V6 and the TSX 4 cylinder I have driven two TSX's and they both seemed to have a momentary lag or pause in acceleration from the start.
