Default stuck CDs

The other day my CD player stopped working. I had to take my 2000 RX in for
an oil change so I asked my service writer to take a look. Almost without
looking up he asked if I was using original or home burned CDs. I told him
home burned.
He said that was the problem and that home burned cds are thicker and jam up
the changer in the trunk.

He said sometimes you can wiggle & jiggle the player in the trunk and it
will eject the cartridge. So far that hasn't worked.
Any other thoughts out there about getting my CDs out of the changer?
Thanks
JD

Commercial ("original") CD/DVD media and CD-R / CD-RW, and DVD media
have the same thickness (1.2mm). Of course if you have an adhesive
label on the CD-R / CR-RW then that indeed could be a problem.

Stick the unit in your freezer for a while or maybe pack some dry ice around
it if removal is too difficult.
Perhaps the small amount of contraction caused by the cold might be
sufficient for the extra clearance you need?

The owner's manual for the '04 TL specifically tells you not to insert any disc
with a stick-on label.

When CDs stick in my 2002 TLS in-dash changer I "unstick" them by gently
inserting a credit card. Just have to stick the card half an inch or so into
the slot. Works well.
