Default Curious Sounds/Behavior from 94 INTEGRA LS.....

Ok I'll try to explain this behavior as best as possible....

About a month ago, I notice a squealing/rattle-can like noise coming
from the front/left side of the car when I let the clutch out. It
would vary in loudness and sometimes would not all. Car still shifted
fine..just was a little annoying...

Now, in the last week its becoming extremely difficult to shift into
gears. It gets tougher to shift when I run the AC...the clutch really
doesn't feel any different but it feels like the stick is refusing to
go in gear....almost like when you try to shift into first at a fast
rate of speed.

Here's the short stat line on my ride....

94 Integra LS
112543 miles
new master cyclinder as of 3 months ago
Original Clutch

**If any one could please offer me any advice it would be greatly
appreciated!
I'm a "starving" artist and I'm hoping this problem won't break the
bank. I love my Integra and hope I can afford to keep her...**

Thanks,

Jeff

There's a slave cylinder to go with the master cylinder, that's what applies
the hydraulic force to the clutch lever. It could be failing, perhaps the
internal seal is allowing fluid to go around the piston. So the clutch is
not disengaging all the way, that would make it hard to shift gears.

You could have clutch pressure plate problems, too. The squeal may be coming
from a bad throwout bearing. That's a bearing that the stationary clutch
lever applies force to while the clutch plate is spinning.
