Default 2004 TL Tires Update

I just returned from the Gold Coast Acura dealer with new Bridgestone EL42 tires all around. Acura replaced them at no cost. Now we will see if the vibration is gone.

The replacement was painless. I got the oil changed and they gave me a rental car at no charge. They even washed the car.

I was surprised to see that there were no new TLs at the dealership. I guess they are still selling very well. As I was waiting a shipment of new cars arrived, two of them were TLs. The salesman told me one was already sold and the other would be sold quickly.

They had only one RL that had been there for several months and no NSXs. There were many RSXs and MDXs, though. I guess the RSX sales have been disappointing. A salesman mentioned customers complain about the ride quality. They only had one or two TSXs as well. I think the sedans are the hot sellers these days.

I got a new brochure on the RL. It looks nice. They are expecting them in the late fall. All wheel drive with 300 hp and paddle shifters should make it fun to drive. The price will be high 40s.

Default Re: 2004 TL Tires Update

that sounds about right, it's mid year, honda getting ready to roll in 2005 models, 2004 assembly line slowly doing it's thing to accomodate 2005 models. the "already sold" ones are the "allocated" cars that someone already signed for. i bought a allocated car, it's due off the line at end of april, i get it around 5/10. my dealer had many TL's, just not the one i wanted. i got black/black with auto-stick, ground package, mud guards, and low lip spoiler. manual trans was tempting, but with front wheel drive i chose auto.
