Hi, I got a 1999 Acura TL. I got new brakes a week ago after the brake lamp
turned on. But, now even though the brakes are new, the brake lamp light is still there. Can any one help me turn the brake lamp light off? Thanks a lot !! David |

Can any one help me turn the brake lamp light off? Check your brake fluid level and make sure the park brake is all the way off and its switch isn't stuck. Then go yell at the guy who worked on your brakes. |

If neither of those is the problem, then check that the wires going into the master cylinder lid are not pinched between the lid and the reservoir. It is easy when putting the lid on the brake reservoir to get the wires that come from the fluid level sensor pinched when you twist it into the catches. This happened on my '00 TL about six months ago & the light came on several weeks later. I took off the brake reservoir lid and straightened out the wires and that fixed it. |
