I've been having a problem with the driver's seat in my TSX moving forward
when performing hard or sudden braking. I took it to the dealer, and they told me that they all do that. They suggested test driving another TSX to prove their point, but I declined. I contacted Client Services, and was told that the seats are designed this way because of federal regulations requiring seat movement when the airbags deploy. They suggested taking it to another dealer for a second opinion to make sure nothing's wrong. I checked NHTSA's website, and found that at least seven complaints have been filed about this issue, and I added one for my car, too. TSX owners: is everyone having this problem, or is it just me? Does anyone know whether the federal government requires this kind of seat movement? I haven't seen it on any of the other cars I've driven. John. |

My 01 Prelude does not have that problem, nor does the BMW 330 a friend of mine has. I can't imagine the Feds requiring something like that. > |
