Default Should I buy this Integra?

I'm looking at a '95 LS. 5-speed, 125K Mi fresh paint and new rims. The
front hood rattles, the attena is broken and the clutch has a _very_
light touch. The car seems to drive fine, but I haven't checked under
the hood yet (it was dark when I test drove it.) I can get it for $3000.

Should I look for anything special under the hood?

Maintenance history!

Has it had its timing belt changed? It was due in 2001

I would check to see if the timing belt was replaced at 90-100k.
Rattles and minor noises should be expected, but your description of
the clutch would make me a bit wary about it. Find out if it has been
replaced as well. If not, that would be somewhere in the $800 range.
You should get at least $50k or more out of it, but change the oil
every 3 - 5k miles. I had an '89 that went to 175k before major work
was needed with regular maintenance (and lots of tires). Also I would
have a local dealer or mechanic check it out (usually $80 - !00 that
is well spent on a car of that age).
