Default paint removal from urethane bumpers

Anyone have any experience with stripping old paint from the bumper covers?
I don't think a normal paint stripper would be good to use on the urethane
plastic.Paint is flaking off my bumper cover and my mirror 'arms'.

Florida sun is hard on a car.:-(
