Add me to the group of leather issues... the "leather" they use is
shit quality. Must be from an old anorexic cow. You can totally tell
the leather difference when you feel the TL for example. I know it's
more money of course, but huge difference.

I'm taking my car to the dealership tomorrow to have them look at the
leather. The service
guy I spoke to on the phone would not say if this would be covered under
warranty or not.
Of course I fully expect it to be since I paid additional money for leather
protectant. You can
be sure I am going to bitch about this. It obviously shows that the
protectant they use does
not do a damn thing! So what if it's replaced? Part of the reason for
spending the money is
that I don't have this hassle in the first place. The leather is probably
poor enough that no matter
how well it is maintained, it will still crack.

Please let us know if you get this covered under warranty. I'd love to have
this problem fixed as well. Thanks and good luck

They are going to replace the side bolster area under warranty. Rather
than use Acura replacement parts, they have a local upholsterer replace
the piece with a better quality leather. I'll get it done during my next
oil
change (end of april).

I stopped by the Acura dealer and they are going to fix the seat for me
under warranty. They didn't seem at all surprised by it.
