Recently found out the brake fluid of my 02 RSX dropped to 1/2 only. And
the brake has to be pressed deeper than before, in order to stopping the car. Today I went to the dealer and had the 32000km service, afterwards I was told the brakes are normal and acceptable. But that's not acceptable to me. So anyone know what's the problem my car's brake? Any input would be appreicated. thankyou. |

A sudden drop in fluid level and pedal height usually means somebody took a trip with the parking brake engaged; the master cylinder or one of the wheel cylinders is failing; or there could possibly be something going on with the ABS. I think you should go back and tell them specifically what has changed. They usually don't cover brake pad wear or rotors under warranty. All the other components would be warranty items if something is going bad. |

the drop in fluid is compensating for the pad wear.
