Before we start, yes, I have read the FAQ... I have access to Mitchell On Demand, I own the Chiltons, and of course the OEM Helms manuals. I have all the shop procedures but would like some practical advice here. I don't have a good impact wrench or shop air at my current location but I can lift the car with no problems and I have space... I need to know the best way to replace the front lower mount without ripping all my hair out one piece at a time. I've stripped this car down many times but I have always found that this is a pain in the arse. Is there any trick here? I know about supporting the motor by blocking the pan/trans. housing but specifically, this damn bolt is a goat to be reckoned with! It seems everyone else gets this minor job done in 30min with minimal difficulty. How long did it take you and what would you advise in terms of avoiding an insane amount of frustration? Thanks to any and all for all strands of advice, Andrew. |
