Default 2000 Acura

Hi there!

Please help. I spent a lot of time in the Nissan group when I owned an 1989 240SX. I bought a 2000 Acura TL. A year ago with 45K on it last year. I didn't think I would be spending anymore time in auto news groups for a while. The car was service a few times last year for various electrical problems. Yesterday the "maintainance required" light came on. Can anyone give me a clue to where to look for the problem before I take it to Acura dealership? Any help will be great appreciated.

p.s. the car is no longer covered under warrenty

"Maintenance Required" is the "oil change due" light. Thatıs all it means.
Whoever last changed the oil didn't reset it. Directions to turn it off are
in the owners manual.

In case you don't have one, hold the "select" and "reset" buttons for the
trip odometer in, turn the key to run (warning lights on, but don't start
the car), and keep holding the buttons until the light goes out.
