I have been advised to adjust the throttle cable/throttle plate, on my 91
Integra, as this affects shifting in my automatic trans.

Anyone know where this adjustment is measured at?

The lever on the transmission. You should set it for perfectly
synchronized. The lever should begin to move at the exact same moment that
the idle begins to increase.

It's measure by the amount of deflection in the middle of the throttle
cable. You can measure it with a rule, measuring tape, etc. and
something to push down on the cable. You would be suprised how much
slack you should have in it. When it gets set tightly, it will cause
drivability problems such as a rich running system or poor idling. I
don't know how it would affect an auto trans. but I would gather that
you might find the gearbox **hunting** for gears a little in the lower
rev band.
