Default 2004 Acura TL Vibration Problem

I checked with my local Acura dealer as my 2004 TL has developed the
vibration problem noted in earlier posts. It occurs at about 50 mph and
slowly seems to subside at higher speeds.

The salesman (at Gold Coast Acura in Ventura, CA) had heard of the problem
and passed my request along to the Service Manager, David. He called me to
suggest that I bring the car in to check the wheel balance. He also said
that he couldn't replace the tires without authorization from Acura.

Of course, the bad news is that even if Acura recalls the tires, they will
no doubt replace then with more Bridgestones. I read that tirerack.com
rated these tires absolutely last in the comparison of passenger car tires.
I plan to contact the regional manager and request that my tires are
replaced with another brand.

Default Re: 2004 Acura TL Vibration Problem

I'm going to be getting mine from Calabassas
I wonder if this seemingly VERY COMMON occurrance will allow me to negotiate
the price lower. Taking a list of all the known defects that everyone has
had, using them as fuel for the arguement.
