Could be either the switch or the regulator motor. Had a similar problem
with my wife's CL. Turned out to be the switch. Dealer wanted $140 for the part alone. I was able to fix it by cleaning the contacts but had to take the door apart to do so. Another CL owner I communicated with had to replace a regulator motor. I believe that part cost him $170. Hope this helps. My '97 CL drivers side just died. It's the regulator. Part from Acura dealer
was $161.00. Had a local body shop install it for 50 bucks.
