Default 1991 Integra GS...Steering wheel shaking at speeds..HELP!

I have taken the car in to my mechanic, every time I do, I cant reproduce,
but it is getting worse! I just had the front wheels rebalanced and it is
still there! Mechanic said he checked front end and is tight, car maintained
regularly adn I am having a fit trying to find out/fix the problem!

It happens when the clutch is in or out, more so when gas pedal applied, but
happens when rolling a s weel. It seems to smooth out over 65 mph. Can
anyone help or shed some light?? Thank you!

JR perplexed in Pa.

Add tire starting to come apart to the list.

Tire balanced statically AND dynamically? Remember, each wheel is
not only independently sprung but can be individually adjusted (like a F1).
Sounds like both static and dynamic balance haven't been done. Give a call
to "Tirefarm" in Farmingdale, NJ .. . bet they can diagnose it.

Thanks to all who responded, first off lesson 1, do NOT take your Acura to a
mechanic who knows NOTHING about imports! I went to the tire guy who
referred me to his brother who owns a shop and replaced the left axle and
both wheel bearings, 500 bux later good as new....good thing it has a
lifetime warranty! (the axle that is)
Anyone have a similar problem with 'Teg's eating up axles? Thanks! JR
