Default Should I buy this 97 3.2 TL ?

I made an offer to a dealer on this 97 TL I got him down to 6500. The
car has 145,000 miles on it,but it is absolutely in beautiful shape. Its
Champagne in color, and runs great. Can anyone tell me if this is worth
it? Is this car a reliable model? Never owned a Japanese car before.
Coming from a 00 Grand Cherokee which I cant afford. Any help would be
appreciated. John

Yep, that would be a good deal, assuming the car checks out
mechanically. I love my '98 TL, I think the 1st generation cars built
in Japan are about as reliable a car as you could hope for.

Enjoy,
