Default 92 Integra- ABS problem

Sometimes the ABS light comes on and the brakes work fine although I believe it disables the ABS. When the light doesn't come on the ABS kicks in at every stop. Any thoughts?

You're right. When the ABS light is on, the ABS is disabled. Pull the fuse
so it stays disabled and enjoy braking the way it was done for the previous
80 years or so before ABS.

One or more of your wheel sensors are going bad. I've had this happen
to each of the rear wheel sensors on my 90 Integra. Exact same
symptoms as you.

When my first sensor went, I paid the dealer $80 to "diagnose" the
problem. Then I discovered that I could do it myself in 2 minutes.
There is information in the tips section at http://www.g2ic.com to
help you get the ABS codes and decipher them.

ABS is disabled when the light is on, but of course if doesn't affect
normal braking.

You mean... by pulsating your right knee? Hahaha...I remember
when ABS came out and my father was dead set against it

He told me that in the 50-60s he learned to "pulsate" his leg
when
bracking on ice. I knew what he really meant, but I still get a
laugh at the visual this
leaves me with.
