On my '01 TL I tried 42mm offset wheels to mount my snow tires. With 5
adults and their luggage on board, the tires would rub against the rear fenders unless I drove much slower than anyone else on the road. Using Acura wheels (52mm offset) resolved the problem. A G2 might possibly have more clearance than a TL. The car also didn't drive the same, but I admit that most drivers might not realize that the cause is the wheels and not the tires. you will get rubbing with a 42mm offset on a Legend for sure .... not sure
about the other Acura models. "JamesZX7" <jameszx7@cox.net.hotmail.com> wrote in message news:WiEKb.17990$7D3.10729@fed1read02... > i know closer to 50+ is best, but dealers around me have only 42mm. > > experienced wheelguys please reply > > > -- > -- James > ( |
