Default Should I replace my head gasket ?

I have a 93 Acura Legend which is leaking oil into my radiator. The
car has 155K miles on it, but is in excellent condition (aside from
this problem). Based on a few calls and poking around on the other
postings here it sounds like replacing the head gasket and flushing
the colling system will set me back about $2000-2500.

Is it worth getting the work done? I saw a couple of posts regarding
other likely problems after havign this done, as well as a a shorter
life expectancy for the car.

Any advice feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Welll,..what's a '93 Acura Legend worth with your mileage? Deduct $2500 and
you'll be able to decide if it's worth fixing. Otherwise sell it for what
it's worth with the head gasket problem, to someone willing to buy it for
that amount, and then invest in a new Acura.

If you don't fix it, the life expectancy will be even shorter.

I have a 92 legend 195k still runs great and I still get allot of
complements on it. I don't think you can find a car like that to replace it
for 2500 I think you should fix it.besides if the work is done correctly it
shouldn't take any life out of it. if any thing you wont have to worry about
your head gaskets for a while.although their is a rumor of transmission
problems around 200k. as mine went out at 185k and I had it fixed.
hard decision
