I have never bought an acura but I am very interested in the 2004 TL. Having
read a few posts in this newsgroup, it seems that most people are paying closer to the MSRP for acuras. 1. Is it typical to pay MSRP for an acura? I can't see paying that much over invoice price even if it is a premium company. 2. If you don't mind, I am very interested in knowing how much anyone has paid for a 04 TL, and the type of model bought. 3. Is the invoice price listed on websites (specifically www.kbb.com) the same as what the dealer pays? Thanks for your help. |

Wait a few months and maybe save a bit. In any case, be ready to wheel and deal like you've never wealt and dealt before, play off Accord V6 price against TL, maybe shop an ES330 or Beemer for comparison. It's a perverse source of fun, if you're wired that way. I'm just getting ready to shop seriously for the first time in a few years, but last time, found it *very* helpful to use one of the online car shopping sites to solicit opening bids. J. |

My buddy and I went to the dealership and got a glimpse of that new
six speed TL that just came out. Unfortunately this car was already sold by the time we got there. The new owner had not picked it up yet, but gave specific instructions that no one is to test drive the car! Therefore, we did not get to test drive the new six speed. I took a look at the sticker price. I can't remember exactly what it was. But I think it was 32 thousand dollars (forgive me if I am mis-remembering the exact amount I saw). I would venture to think that since the car sold so quickly, that the new owner probably paid a pretty high price for the car. sincerely.
