I am VERY thankful for all of the advice given to me by the members of this
group as to what the RSX-type X is all about. My pledge is, of course, to enjoy the car for what it is (and can do), but also to be a very canny and careful driver, given what is under the hood. I do not take these things lightly, as I do not wish to find myself wrapped around a telephone pole, flattening a child, or rear-ending another driver. I can't imagine anything worse than one of these... I'm really love this little car and pledge to drive 'especially carefully and responsibly'. This really came home on the way home tonight, when with 2-3 inches of snow on the ground - and seeing the SUV crowd bulling their way through traffic - that I need to 'hyper down' and use the car to it's best advantage. That is to enjoy the power, work up to being able to use the power band, and being a good driver - not some power crazy @$$#01e! Thanks for all the posts that have kept me here on Earth. One caveat - in the spring, I'll find a test track to open her up on! That's where I'll really learn what the car can do - not on public streets. George |
