Default Brake pedal play on MDX

Has anyone come up with a way to take the side to side movement out of
the MDX brake pedal? It moves much more than any of my other (3) cars. I
brought it to the dealer and he said it's normal.

Bruce in L.A.

My 2002 has the same problem and the dealer gave me the same answer as
yours.

set the thing in concrete, it won't move then ;-)

sorry I can't help, maybe look at how it is mounted if you really can't
stand it and you want to go for modifying it. I don't know a couple
washers may do the trick I do not have an MDX so I have no idea, weird
thing though...

More seriously, my brake pedal is the one that moves sideways the most
on my RSX-S (about 1/4 of an inch), I just went outside to check it, I
got really bored tonight ;-)

How much does your MDX brake pedal move sideways??

Maybe it is designed like that so it doesn't jam I do not know. Acura
God maybe if he still hangs around here ??

Anyway do not follow my prior idea to fool around the brake system
without professional advice... ;-)
hehe..

It is normal for the brake pedal to have some side to side movement.
All MDX do it and some other models also. Some more and some less.
