The idle on the car is fine when it is in park or neutral but when i
have it in drive the idle seems to be very low and the car shakes. In park the tach says about 1000 rpm's give or take but when in gear i don't think it can read the rpm's that low. Is it just a matter of adjusting the throttle cable or is there something else. Thanks Everyone. Steve! |

Any hint of coolant leaks? I went through this; the EACV (engine air control
valve) was leaking and failing to do its valving function, besides. No coolant leaks anywhere.

Ours was subtle for a long time. An occasional whiff of coolant and the
overflow tank dropping subtly over time. Just a thought. The problem created the exact same symptom of erratic idle. "Steve" <nascar33@telus.net> wrote in message news:6a3nb.38536$EO3.21519@clgrps13... > No coolant leaks anywhere. |

Steve,
You have to spray it with throttle body cleaner while the engine is running... or something like that The guys at the Acura Vigor Club willhave more information on this subject. http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/...andlegendclub/ AND --> http://www.acuravigorclub.com/ Great group of guys always willing to lend a hand. Seems to me that someone had this problem just recently. Hope this helps.
