Default Any heard of Titanium brake pads ?

I just learned about a new type of brake pads called Titanium, and was
wondering if they are just a spin-off of the metal impregnated pads that are
common these days.

I've also heard of pads that don't wear out - I guess they think it is
cheaper to replace rotors ? Well anyway it allows companies like Midas to
advertise lifetime warranty pads so it gets the customer back for rotors
instead.

On my Integra I just had to swap pads because they were grinding. Rotors
looked fine and the pads looked good only half worn but I guess the metallic
content is too high and they occasionally grind. Stop very well though.
Better than my new low metallic content organic pads.

Maybe the work "Ceramic" brake pads is correct? The pads should wear out as
well as the rotor. Eventually. My 89 Legend still has the original rotors,
but they are close to being worn out with 249,000 miles.
