I think it is called the mast. The motor is fine. When I turn off the
car, the antenna goes down but not all the way and I hear a grinding
sound as if the little gear mechanism that pulls and pushes on the
antenna is grinding and slipping. I think it's lost some teeth.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about? I think this is an easy fix.
What part should I ask for and should I stick to genuine Acura for this?
