First off, it's VTEC. Second consult your owner's manual but I'm pretty
sure it's regular 87. Higher octane is for engines with higher compression. That is what the engine is designed to burn. Buying more expensive fuel is a waste. The models that use Premium Grade fuel have a notice inside the fuel door and on the fuel gauge. 2.2 CL's don't come with Lude engines unless someone swapped it out
