Default 1990 Acura Interga - A question.

Hi:

I have a 1990 Acura Integra (burgundy - dark red) and it is in
excellent condition. It has about 144K miles on it and it runs very
well and is in good condition. It has AC+cassette player+radio+moon
roof. Both its interiors and exteriors are in very good condition and
it really doesnt need any repair work whatsoever. I recently changed
its entire distributor system and its in very good condition. I am
moving and need to sell my car. I looked up edmunds.com for a start,
to get an idea of what I could expect to get if I sold it as is where
is and it quoted $2300.00 .

Should I quote 2300?..or less? or more?..ANY advice/suggestions will
be highly appreciated. I am not very familiar with cars and have no
clue what price to quote. Also, what should be my lowest offer? I do
however need to sell the car ASAP and will appreciate
replies/guidelines from anybody from this group.

Thanks..

-Andy.

If the car "doesn't need any mechanical work whatsoever", then why are you
selling it "as is where is"? I understand you'd rather not ship it since
you're trying to sell it quickly, but selling it Saftied/certified will get
you a better price. People are extremely wary of "as is" cars. If you've
kept all your receipts for repairs done over the years (these are called
Records), this can be a big selling point as well. Dealer maintained?
Another bonus. No accidents? Non smoker? All will get you a better price.
Is that $2300 Dealer, or Wholesale? If it's wholesale, you should raise it
quite a bit. I'd go on autotrader.com or trader.ca and see what other cars
of similar discription are selling for in your area.
Hope this helps
MR

How does your insurance company list the car's worth?
