Well, I got the check engine light and six blinks on the ECU. Replaced the
temp sensor and bled the system. Nope that ain't it. Still comes back on. Here's the symptoms. The light only comes on if I start the car from cold and heat it up as I drive. It appears that when I reach a certain midpoint temperature, the car will surge a bit and then drop back a bit then the check engine light is on. If I restart the car when it is hot, then the light does not come on at all. This morning, I also got the S3 flashing and the TCU says it is a defective coolant sensor as well. Nope that is not the problem since I have tried a new one too. Any ideas? I suspect my regulator might be the problem I am only getting a charging voltage of 13 volts or so. |
