The '92 Vigor service manual says on pg. 20-63:

1) Pry off the maintenance caps, then remove 2 upper bumper mounting nuts on
each side from the trunk area. (These appear to be on the back wall going
aft just above the cover for the support box beam structure and on the side
wall just forward of the back wall going to the side.)

2) Remove the 2 bumper mounting screws at the front edge of the bumper on
each side. (These appear to be on the wheel well lip.)

3) Remove the upper bumper molding, then remove the 3 upper bumper mounting
clips. (I'm guessing this is at the trunk lip.)

4) Remove the 2 lower bumper mounting nuts and center clip from under the
trunk floor. (The lower ones appear to be directly inline with the upper
ones removed in step 1 above. The clip looks to be right behind the license
plate on the lower lip.)

5) Pull back the front edge of the bumper on each side, then remove the
bumper by sliding it to the rear.

Note:
- Disconnect the license light connector.
- An assistant is helpful when removing the rear bumper.
- Take care not to scratch the bumper.
