Default Please, legend seat not moving

Legend coupe driver seat stopped sliding back and forward,
Couple months ago it would work sometimes, but not at all
now. All other seat functions work fine. Where should I start
looking. Thanks

Not specific to a Legend, but either of 2 things will usually cause
this. Often something gets stuck in the track that the seat moves on.
Often this is a fountain pen or a straw or a piece of carpeting that has
jammed in there. Or, the lever that you pull or push to release the
seat is not clearing the release mechanism so the seat is not fully
releasing. Sometimes this is a broken spring or a bent lever arm. Or,
(3rd thing) the seat has gotten off it's track.

be it a Legend, its more likely a power seat.

If it is, you'll need to unbolt it out, have a 12volt source and ground, and
see if you can test the motors individually....telling you whether or not
its the motors, contacts, or switches. I do not suggest if you have never
messed with auto-electrics before.
