Default Transmission slipping problems

My 1988 integra (90,000miles) is an automatic, so I don't have a
clutch, but I have some slipping or metal rubbing against each other
sounds, on accleration.
What's up with it? Is it the transmission? It does not feel "slipping"
when I let the go gas pedal, but only on accleration.

The "sliding" sound seems to be mostly from the left front side. Does
this indicate something?
