Default Re: 94 gsr no spark

hi,
changed wires/rotor/cap no spark ....also tested the coil .resistance is
within range...only the secondary is a little low (12.8 ohms)...also getting
12+ volts to icm at all angles....my guess its the icm.. I removed it today
& it wasnt easy. both clymer & chilton were not specific on how to remove it
, but i did it. now to locate an icm for lesss than the $165 to see if this
is truly the prob.
$165 is the best price oem i could find.
am i missing something because everyone tends to think icm's dont go bad.
Any feedback please!

Before you do any major work, try the simple things. My guess would be
a slight crack in the dist. cap causing your problem. Try replacing the
cap and also the wires and go from there. Any wires that arc will cause
either severe drivability issues or a no start condition.

If you replace just the wires and the car runs ok, try misting the dist.
cap with some water when it's running. If it cuts out, replace the cap
also.
