Integral 91 Clutch pedal adjustment
I know that there is no "standard" adjustment for the pedal's position. The dealer told me not to change the clutch until it fails but I have small feet and many times I found myself holding the pedal on a position that doesn't completely disengages the clutch. Short of cutting the pedal's arm (!!!) isn't there another solution. The Jaguar use to have a hydraulic system that maintain the pedal's range on the same position. Why can't they give us at list some adjustment. |

Why can't they give us at list some > adjustment. First, I would check the clutch pedal free-play ( on many cars about 1/2" ). If that's OK you could extend the pedal pad thickness ( somehow ). Another possibility is to have an expert welder modify the pedal arm for more reach. A friend had his brake pedal arm modified by a Kodak welder ( superb job ). Dave M. |
