Hi gang:
Got a new RSX-S pearl white, three weeks ago. Got a thousand miles on it, got an oil change, got a spoiler installed, got new windshield molding installed under warranty since the 'delivered' molding was puckered in areas (it rains a lot here so that was a concern), got my plates today, so I no longer look like a pilgrim. SO... Lurking on this list, I learned that there is a 2nd gear transmission problem, ultra thin metal fenders in the rear, and other various and sundry problems with RSX cars in general. I paid top dollar, for my 2003 - knowing that the model year was over, knowing that I paid too much, knowing that I would now be comitted to actually 'driving' a car after years of smoozzy smusshh in my mini-vans, Camry's and various other bloaters. Hey, I wanted this car and HAD to have it. I love it, and can't imagine where my insurance rates are going to go after I've had it for a couple of years ;-) What say you? As a group, are you happy to be RSX drivers? George |

Hi, George:
Can't say anything about the RSX-S as I don't own one. I have owned (7) Honda built cars so far - (2) Civics 91 & 97 - both driven by my wife ; (3) Honda Accords 84, 87 & 94 ; (1) Legend coupe 89 and (1) TL 3.2 2000 that I got now. I can say for sure, I am very happy being a Honda/Acura owner & driver. If you maintain it right, not abuse it (much !!) - you should outlast that Caravan (& the Camry - maybe !!) and have a lot more fun as well. The top dollar that you paid, you will get back more so than most other cars. You know the hit you took on your CARAVAN not just in depreciation but in maintenance + lower miles / gal etc, not to mention the crappy ride & a lousy interior. The Camry did better I am sure !! Have fun !! Life's too short. RSZ-S looks great - enjoy it. The 2nd gear transmission you heard of is a small % issue - you'll do a lot better than the transmission on the Caravan. Vinnie (& his 2 cents !!) ================== "George" <gmenzie@charter.net> wrote in message news:vj8k16kmnr692d@corp.supernews.com... > Hi gang: > > Got a new RSX-S pearl white, three weeks ago.
