I have a 2002 type s with 9000mi...found a 1/2" rust area on a horizontal
surface just below window on passenger rear door. Local dealer says only a
Factory rep can authorize repair as "Acura's do not have paint problems",
have to wait 4 weeks for factory rep to come by..Is this SOP with Acura's?,
have others noted rust?

I always here people bitch about the paint on the Acura; looks good but it's
thin. Maybe it's just more forumitis.
