Default Acura Vigor

Hey
I was looking for a used car and came across a '92 Acura Vigor. I was
wondering, if something goes wrong with the car how easy/tough is it
to find spare parts, maintenence etc. ??

Thanks,
Nipen.

Gino, do you see other people post like that? Is there something wrong
with you? I've been reading your posts for long enough to realize that you
have issues. Please get some help, or at the least, some remedial typing
classes

Consuming mass quantities of Sterno and Listerine might make it
comprehensible...

Vigor is a nice car but parts are not plentiful except at dealer. Not too
many problems with the car but if one develops expect to pay a fortune to
fix it.
Some problems I have encountered with Vigors:
wheel bearings
oil cooler o-rings leaking oil
radio display quits working
heater blower motor quits
distributor leaking oil

No joke with the wheel bearings. I'm on my second set, factory bearings
went bad, blame the second set on me being stupid and not buying Acura
parts. What a bitch to get to them ya got to bring them in it needs an on
the car press. Not a tool a do it your selfer would have. Other than that I
love it Dave you ever run into the mystery of the cracked 800 dollar
exhaust manifold ?

Oh yes several times. Those manifolds are too expensive. Hard sell to
someone who has 100k miles on their car.

That was an expensive part, my cousin and Acua Tech in Cali says the new
casting use a different alloy and should hold up better. I'm sort of at his
mercy as i stopped working on cars when i couldn't get a hand into the
engine compartment. I'm currently looking at new front rotors and another
left front wheel bearing. oh well its only money right. HA HA HA Cya
